Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between life coaching and counseling?

Coaching is results-oriented and focuses on making changes in the present by empowering people to come up with their own answers. Coaching takes the client form where they are to where they want to be.

Counseling is about healing deep emotionally issues, usually arising from the past. This can be someone who has been abused or experienced trauma. Also, mental issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder etc. would require counseling or psychotherapy.

How do I know if I need coaching?

Quite simply, if you are not where you want to be mentally, emotionally and/or spiritually and you need tools, guidance and support to get to where you want to be, then you may need coaching.

Do you offer an introductory session and what does it entail? Not only do I offer an introductory session but I encourage you to take advantage of it to further educate yourself on what coaching is and establish if coaching is really the right fit for you. It’s also important that you experience my energy and feel comfortable with me. If we’re not a good fit the coaching will not be as effective as it can be.

If I have a Life Coach, is there work required on my part?

Yes, nothing worth having comes without effort and what is so effective about life coaching is that you are coming up with the answers yourself. You’re more likely to follow through on decisions and reach goals when the answers/solutions come from deep down in your soul rather than being told what to do. That’s the important distinction with coaching and it’s what creates long lasting life changes.

Do I have flexibility with my appointments?

Yes, of course. Sessions can occur weekly, bi-weekly or once a month depending on your personal and scheduling needs. Also, for your convenience, we can meet in my home office, in your home (if you have a private space) or via ZOOM.

How many sessions are required?

The number of sessions really depends on what we’re working on and I will always do my best to accommodate any timing or budgetary constraints as my ultimate goal is to help you!

Why is full payment do at the time of commitment?

Full payment is due to alleviate any future worries of making payments, but more importantly it allows you to be fully committed to the process of fixing yourself. However, if you need a payment plan I am more than happy to discuss options with you.
